The Grassini Pinoli Company deals with Italian pine nuts by directly following the entire supply chain of these fruits that nature offers, from harvesting to packaging, through their processing.
It is a family-run company where Federico and his brother carry on the secrets of tradition with the aim of producing a product of the highest quality without the aid of any chemical components.
The pine nuts come from the pine forests of the Pisan coast and from the Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Natural Park, far from sources of pollution.
The processing methods have remained unchanged over time: shaking and harvesting are done from October to March with vibrating machines, the pine cones that fall to the ground are collected by hand by specialized personnel and are stored in the sun to encourage their natural opening.
The pine nuts are then collected, crushed, washed, left to dry, selected and packaged.
The result is a healthy and natural pine nut.
